In the summer of 2021, the news arrived that our project idea was deemed suitable for support by the acting authority. In this way, we can now shape the previous plans into action.
The Municipality intends to set up a non-profit limited company to run the pasta factory.
For the operation the non-profit company intendds to employ 7 persons, of which the Municipality commits to create new jobs for 3 persons and to provide them for 3 years.. Thus, the municipality intends to implement its employment/re-employment obligation through its own company. We also plan to involve disadvantaged workers in the operation, thus improving the employment situation in the municipality. Support from the Economic Recovery Programme will help to employ disadvantaged workers in Uusymargita and develop innovative technology. An important objective is to maintain and further develop the results achieved within the framework of the district start-up programme. We plan to produce organic and functional products.
